Autistic children in Kenya need your help.

All around the world, autistic children have learning needs that can be challenging for a local school to meet.  Sunrise School in Mumias, Kenya was founded in 2021 in order to support these children.  With Kenyan class sizes of 50-60 students, it is not possible for a single teacher to meet the needs of students who require additional staff and specialized instruction in order to progress.  Because appropriate educational opportunities for autistic children are so scarce in Kenya, these are the very children we serve at Sunrise School.

At Sunrise School for Autistic Learners, each child has the potential to grow and learn within a program of individualized instruction, designed to meet his/her developmental levels. Our dedicated staff continues to gain new skills and knowledge for helping these very special children. We are deeply committed to seeing each child succeed to the best of his/her ability.
